Fighting against all players on server

When I join a battle or siege server, on the next new round all players are automatically switched to the opposite team and I have to fight all of them alone. I don't know what causes this bug. I repaired the mod several times, reinstalled it in the end and reinstalled DirectX. I tried to run WSE 2 but got an error that "DXT1 support is required" When I join a server I get this error message

visitors can't see pics , please register or login


I can play only "Defend the Viscount" mode. Any suggestions?

Wow.
DXT1 is something to save textures with (like mp3 etc for sounds)iirc.
Can you post you system specs here? (OS, RAM, CPU, GPU)

I have quite a weak PC but I can play Warband and its various mods with no problem. I haven't played cRPG for some months ( definitely before that major update) so I updated it and played without any issues. I got this weird bug yesterday.

So here are my humble PC specs

Win XP Service pack 3, 1.5 GB RAM, Pentium IV 3.4 GHz, Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family

I know I need a new PC but this bug just got out of nowhere. I don't remember of any major changes at the time the bug occured. I think it might be the lack of WSE 2 and my inability to run it? What do you think?

It shouldnt have anything to do with eachother, but it might. Its probably the best to wait for cmp to reply to this topic. If he doesnt do in the next 2 days I´ll send him a PM.

The bug itself doesn't sound like it is related to your specs in any way.

Balancing is not done on the client side anyway.

So I would say cmp is the one you want to talk to (Or maybe Tydeus, if he is still active at all, since he buggered around with the balancing as well)

Thats true, the only thing I was thinking about that its tells you everytime you join a server that you should WSE2 Beta or you might have glitches...

I had this exact same issue myself on my character
It only happened after I changed my heros name from Gryphter to HaremMaster_Gryphter_of_Acre
Dunno if that has anythign to do with it.

Someone said change my equipment, when I changed my loadout on C-rpg.net it may or may not have fixed it. Not sure, was just happening for two days and seems to have resolved itself.
(Happened in NA and EU battle server, only when the number of players was > 16)

That happened to me randomly one day - balanced normally one map - fucked over the next. Just leave the server and rejoin, then is fixed.

EVERY time i join a server it does this, people dont want me to play and i dont want to play either! It always balances me to be by myself and everyone is against me.

I have reinstalled twice deleting all related warband files and registry, repaired, tried with and without WSE2, i think its a server side problem, i also wonder if it has something to do with the fact i CANNOT see EU servers no matter what i try

This is still a big problem. Arya was having the same thing happen as well. Terrible if it is happening to you as its impossible to get a multi and you feel like you should leave so the game can be normal. Needs a fix real bad. Arya seemed to be able to come back and play after a restart of the game. But sometimes it would happen again.

Someone told me in teamspeak like a few days ago, i can't fully remember but they told me what causes it, i'm pretty sure it's something to do with character generation or lvl, you need to retire or respec your character and it should fix it. but i still don't fully remember what they said.

Definitely seemed like it worked for that guy, but then when Firebat showed up he didn't break it either, despite being on the same banner as when it broke for him the previous night. Not to mention when he had swapped banners, no dice. I guess the server just shits itself then fixes itself randomly? Time will tell...
