You should do the duel and count it as a second round. If ras lose, we can consider the debt of waradin paid. If waradin lose, he has to give all his MW to ras.

As waradin is not totally trustworthy and that's the reason invoked by ras to avoid the duel, waradin should give all his MW (but those he wants to use during duel) to a third trustworthy person before the duel.

With MW being currently sold 400'000 gold, you only need 5 of them to have 2 million gold. So all the MW from waradin should be much more than 2 million. Especially with DTV reward creating some inflation, MW will be worthing more and more gold...

I dont understand why you "awesome minimal wage europeans" are so surprised that people accualy work on sundays. ANY PERSONAL CHAUFFEUR needs to be ready to drive his boss, any day of the week. Driving his boss is possibly his second job, yes, some people have to work two jobs.

If you got a job with responsibilities make it clear that the bullshit forum call-out duel request needs to be a flexible time, not a 'Turn up at XPM you pussy!' then cancel (not reschedule, read Varadin's 'I wont be there post'), and also reveal that you never had the gold to pay if you lost. I'm sure he would've accepted gold from Ras if Varadin won, and i'm sure we'd have this or worse if Ras had a legit excuse to not be there at that time.

If you take cRPG duels seriously you're already a sad fuck, but on the scale of sad fucks you gotta be prepared to pay out if you lose or suddenly cancel (without asking to postpone) after chatting so much shit and trying to call someone out. Pay out, then reschedule, what's not to get? If you don't turn up for a strat battle you auto-lose, at least duels are flexible if that person asks to postpone it a few hours (he didn't).

Yup. This should be seen as a second duel. Varadin would easily have acccepted the 2 million gold if he won, but his overly cocky attitude made him unable to pay the price if he lost. He should pay up for the first loss, so that he actually seems a tiny bit trustworthy, and then they can do the second duel.

How on earth is Ras suposed to trust him? Anyway, it's essentially down to Ras now, if he wants to do another one.

PS: He might have paid him, but afaik he hasn't yet.

here is my opinion on this, first of all i've found varadin's excuse hard to believe. but lets all assume that varadin really had to drive his boss that day and that is why he couldnt attend to the duel. then varadin should pay the 2 million golds ( or mw items that worth 2 mil golds) to ras and challange him again. the prize should be the same , 2 mil golds or mw items that worth 2mil. if varadin is perfectly sure that he is going to win the duel, then there is no reason to not to give him the mw items or the gold because if he wins, he will get his mw items back. but if he loses, he will have to give more mw items but again since he is sure of the victory he souldnt be afraid to lose his mw items. and ras has nothing to worry about because if he loses he will give back the mw items that didnt even belong to him in the first place, and if he wins, he will double his prize.

Don't exaggerate, this is not the world cup.............Doesn't matter whether Varadin was just "too afraid" to show up or if he simply had to do something for his job. Reschedule and make your duels. Longing for the money so hard, Ras just shows that he only wants the profit and the "official" approval that he has "beaten" Varadin. If he really wanted the duel for the duel's sake he would fight Varadin. Maybe he is just too afraid that he might lose money because he realises that there is a chance that Varadin defeats him, thus he uses every way possible to present himself as the winner.
Ras, just show us that you want to fight Varadin. Making such a show out of your missed date is ridiculous. Fight him, show that you are better (if you are - I don't know) and stop complaining about a guy not showing up. If Varadin comes to the next fight it is obvious that he is willing to fight you. If this isn't the case it would be legit to demand the money. It is really annoying to see what drama you created here....
