I don't know about EU1,
but I guess the main reason why there are so few people playing in all actually is that EU7 gives too easy, too high reward, as Saxon said, full server... all the day. Even old DTV players want it to be decreased, me too.

Also, the few times I played on EU2 now again, I realized Conquest comes up a bit too much, and mostly leads to the fact that many people quit - I'm not sure tho.

Conquest is a strange one. Number of people who are on x1 quit, but bunch of people join after they see it is conquest on EU2. In the end, conquest usually have higher population than regular siege maps.

1. agreed, DTV reward is too high

2.  I think the main reason why people quit at conquest is the >omg 30 minutes x2 milking >_>  and yes, it comes up too often,
Maybe if Coronoa virus gets rid of 50 percent or more of the world population we can do without a pope and religion.

This. Mainly playing DTV now thanks to shit ping ( don't know why  :? ) and even full plated and mounted you get 1k reward. Visited today master race EU1 and BAM! 2k repairs... without using warhorsie.

Battle should be most rewarded, then siege, finally DTV.

Sadly, bad ping and upkeep costs keep me away EU1  :(

I leave every time, the conquest maps look too big, too dull and too long to play in with few people. Gets boring, mostly is played by a bunch of "1h heros and infinite S keyers" that practicaly dont team work at all.

Siege overall is boring to me.
Your virtual life has no value at all, just respawn... and therein lies another issue: you're running 80% of the time around w/o actually playing the game (read: fighting).
Maps are made for 60-100 people on and are way too big for the current 20-30 population on the server.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

DTV's rewards are way to high now, both for Exp and money.

It's one of the reasons why it is always full nowadays.

Even playing a full map on EU1 with perma x5 gives somewhat less then DTV with the same timeframe played.

Either decrease the rewards on DTV, or increase exp AND money rewards for battle and siege.

Just turn EU2 & EU7 off for a week and enjoy the revival of mod.

Give battle x17
Make multiplier on siege increase/discrease with every gained/lost flag
Put a boss in every wave in DTV, to be played by a random player
Problem solved.

That is not true. Because of respawn people fight more often on siege servers. When I want to fight, I always go siege/conquest. When I want to hide and backstab people, I go to battle.

I think that's disputable. On Battle the running around + waiting for respawn is usually like one minute and a half per round for a good 2 to 3 minutes of fighting if you do not die early all the time. The downtime is less boring as well due to risks from cav and having to position yourself. On Siege every time you die takes at least 30 seconds before you are up and fighting again, often more into the 40-50 seconds range. This time usually consists of nothing but clearing the distance to the current frontline, devoid of any danger.

If you add it all up, I don't think you fight significantly more on Siege and at least the downtime in Battle comes in sizeable chunks which are ideal for a little forum session or a pee break.

Cos we'd all be playing China servers?

No but because all the addicted no-lifers who play siege & DTV would be "forced" to play on EU1 (as battle is better than nothing) and when the rest of us would see more than 11 people online at prime time many of us would join in as well and the numbers would be up in no-time. Like it or not - battle is the only real thing in this game, everything else is a joke.
