I kinda like it. Never really been a fan of city building games. I dont really get them. I just never get any emotional connection with my city. And if you dont get it with that theres nothing else to get connected to. And when you arent emotionally connected its hard to stay invested. But yea, Sim city has sucked for years now and this one is better. That much I can say.

I find it very good, but I'm also somewhat of a fan of the genre. Really there hasn't been a good simcity-like game since what, SimCity 4 Rush Hour. I find this one even better. Love how people and traffic are simulated and it's not just random shit, but instead every car/person has a home, job, education etc.

I haven't checked if there's any difficulty settings but the game is pretty easy. You don't really have any problems with cash whatsoever and as long as you don't build something really retarded, you won't get punished. I think the biggest challenge here is solving all the traffic jams once your city is already up and running.

Yea, it's great.

Especially the Steam Workshop connection is awesome. Already so much great custom stuff there...
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

I am kinda hyped right now - actually missed they were developing this .

Every city-building-game since Simcity 4 have been huge disappointments for me..

Didn't play enough to have an opinion right now, but uh look at the user reviews on metacritic - thats rare :D

It's getting fantastic reviews all over the web. 96% positive reviews on Steam ('Overwhelmingly Positive'), which is pretty rare as well. I read some negative ones and it's mostly silly complaints.

And yeah, that it came with modding support and connected to Steam Workshop straight out of the box is also great.

10/10 confirmed goty ign

The game is really fun, but it needs some more content to keep it interesting, same problem with banished. Building new districts and roads will start to repeat itself.

Yeah thats the one thing that worries me a bit. Well there is a ton of mods already out, but I'd be glad to see a bit more difficulty/depth added to the game - they should add stuff like poverty, more crime, disasters, riots and so on.

I'm a bit sceptical about how they can add more content that is somehow relevant. The best part of the game is designing and building proper road system, at least for me, so new additional events could just distract me from doing what's best in the game.

Overall, I feel I could compare this game to Transport Tycoon Deluxe. Instead of trains I'm building roads, and bulding shit it much easier.

They need to add facilities to districts, so hospitals/schools can only be used in certain districts so you have enough retarded people to fill the farmer job (sorry if I offended any farmer but its the case in this game).

Huge farms look nice but they are always destroyed cause everyone is master engineer in my city.
