Interstellar was a big letdown for me. I never liked Nolan much (Inception is great on many levels, though), but somehow I still expected this film to be great.  But meh, first 20-20 minutes were nice, but from the moment he finds that hidden space-station it got worse and worse for me.

Just watched Interstellar, liked it a lot. Not as excellent as Inception, but still very decent movie. Then again I am a Hans Zimmer fanboy and he contributed a lot to me liking Interstellar (the spinning dock scene was eargasmic).

While I agree that there could be a bit less drama and 'love power', I really do not see the american propaganda that you mention Prpavi. As for the ending, a bit too far fetched for my taste.

Go read manga instead to see some real fucked up shit and then suffer for waiting half a year for a new chapter.

Did not see this movies yet, but I really liked that static animation used in old series better.
Manga is great.

Interstellar wasn't bad and I don't see how you can get "American propaganda" out of it. Predictable though (like the Dr. Mann thing was so obvious I thought that surely they'd have taken massive precautions against it when they sent 12 people to die all alone on alien planets) and I didn't like that the "solution" was very much a deus ex machina, but I don't expect Hollywood films to be clever and intelligent, they're just entertainment.

Exactly. Considering that quite some stuff that was in the movie was correct in terms of physics (or at least used some established hypothesis eg. wormhole), the solution was just... uncle nolan pls

So watched Prometheus again last night, enjoyed it more than Interstellar, movie is naive and has a prequel to preqel feeling all over it though but still not crap like Interstellar.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

It didn't even address any of the problems or paradoxes with time travel, or... anything. It just went "lol, time travel." "But then how'd-" "More time travel." "But we couldn't have possibly done this even with time trav-" "Time travel by a future civilization, duh."

Still liked it more than most movies, 7.5/10 is pretty accurate I think, or 7/10. Worth watching.

I watched Eraserhead the other day. Pretty good, like ive heard. Scarier than generic horror flicks at times, and funnier than the average comedy at other times.
