I have been regularly 1 or 2 shotted by archers/xbows.  I'm guessing alot of the complaints about archery being underwhelming is from lower levels ( 34-35 ), but after the patch I expect to be 1 shotted alot more.

You wear no armor compared to the average EU players (you're with either a gambeson or a mailled tunic), remember why the archers don't take less than 8 PD here, everyone is either an agi build that's going to dodge, or a big 27str going to tank arrows.

Don't you find it impossible to hit things because the models are fubar atm? The way models move feels so random, like positions aren't reported to the server properly

Do you mean the hitboxes ? If you mean hitboxes, you have to know they are terrible on torso (three balls, not covering the sides).

Archery is in a good state, actually I've been in the market for a bow for quite some time, yet I haven't seen anything besides yumis on the market.  Given the low population the market may not be the best indicator anymore, but this relation tends to mean that bows, not yumis, are particularly desirable, especially when bows have in the past been so common.

Yes they should give archers back agi build and reduce the weight of bows and arrows, being an archer and having your basic equipment weigh as much as platemail is a little redic.

But if they are gunna do this I hope they buff Cav. Take away the speed bonus arrows do to horses.

If you wear light equipment, aren't agi archers more dangerous for you? You'll be taking large amounts of damage either way. Speed bonus is currently linear for ranged, which is already quite low.

Fuck agi archers, keep en slow and steady but do give them some damage IMO. With the clunky slow movespeed i guess they could have jumpshot aswell. But i do think as far as balancing goes, they should be stuck at the movespeed of a heavy armored infantry, so atleast mediums can catch them out.

if so crossbowmans should be also slow as hell. This is archer and role of the archer is to be agile. I would prefere more arrows and faster movement speed than simple dmg boost. Sometimes u loose half of your "clip" into one infantry guy, because he keeps on dodging and u need to put like 10 arrows in him to kill and then u are harmless, u can't do shit. U arent crossbowman with big armor and fast speed movement(untill u drop your bow)

Crossbows have way longer reload and if archers got speed boost then they could just start kiting again. Next patch adds more dmg for archers though so that is fine.

Crossbowmen are pretty slow. Why are archers suppose to be agile? Kiting archers were never a hit with the rest of the server. I didnt mind them kiting too much since i used to play agiwhore build so i could always catch them but most people complained about it. Archers as is only lack a bit of range damage other than that they are balanced imo. Imo its more enjoyable to play a more stationary archer but with some melee, than running around untill people give up chasing.

Iam so sick of this one swing cav kills, guy rides on a box tank, very slow, i even jump in opposite direction to reduce speed impact, doesnt matter, one swing u are dead. U are archer and u are so slow as 60 armor guy so u cant even dodge. But I have to shoot, HIT like 20 arrows to take this cav with cut arrows -_-. Swing range is also ridicilous. Many times i see how guys stop cab with spears and they still manage magicly swing and hit this infantry guy, its just retarded:O.

I think arrows should have pierce damage instead of cut, because arrows thrust, not cut. That would be more effective against most arour types in game.
