..this game kinda sucks. It's a stripped down version of Battlefield. No squads, no voice chat, no way to strategize with your teammates, no classes (and the synergy that comes from it), underwhelming powerups, paper-thin vehicles, zero sense of teamplay. Somehow they removed everything I loved about Battlefield, doubled down on all the terrible shit, and built the core mechanics around what was left.

Sounds exactly like it looks. Sad. They could've at least put it on a Battlefield level...

Servers are falling apart, typical for Origin... like they didn't know everybody and their mother would want to try this.

First match - first on the scoreboard, pickups every few seconds. Played as Empire.
Second match - Played as Rebels - couldn't even make it two feet from spawn.

yeah the map is really unbalanced, otherwise the game is just disappointing, as expected

Yeah I tried this out for a few rounds just after it unlocked and I have to say I was lost for words at how dumbed down it is and what little options there are for setups. I have a feeling the reason behind it is because they are going to sell the rest of the content as DLC ( new weapons/customization options ) and milk all the kids who become Star Wars fans at the end of this year.

I totally suck at fps and after some match i got 1st with empire and like 7th with rebel. This totally explain the game.

2 multiplayer maps so far, the walker mission and a smaller 10v10 capture the drop pods map on some rocky planet. I like it so far, but it is EXTREMELY dumbed down version of battlefield/battlefront. Even the air combat is dumbed down.

To be fair I actually had more fun with the fighter v fighter combat than I did in any of the modern based Battlefield games, it was arcadey style fun and kinda reminded me of the old Star Wars games lol. I did also have fun playing the game, but I have that feeling it's going to be a bigger DLC shit storm than any other we've seen previously.

Atm it's too similar to a reskin of battlefield than an actual sequel to Star Wars Battlefront.

People over at Planetside 2 reddit are predicting this will increase Planetside 2's playerbase like the BF4 release did.
