Make another kickstarter 1 week short ?

Is there any possibility to make another kickstarter 1 week long after this one ? People know about the game now, it went viral at imgur, so, even more people are going to see it.

If it's not, I close this thread asap.

Basically, as my english vocabulary isn't great, I must say I wanted to ask if it was possible to have some kind of occasion to give money (didn't know the term kickstarter was affiliated entirely with this website, sorry...).

By "Kickstarter", I meant anything to raise money. If you need funds, they can try to raise them independently.

chadz said they won't do anything for some time. Also crowdfunding could get a serious hit in Europe next year, because of some changes in tax laws.

I wouldn't rush things (again). Also if they present some nice new things like a playable demo in a couple of weeks or months people will see how they make progress, not just promises.

The game would have to be significantly further developed for that to be a good idea imo. At the moment it's a visionary project, where nothing really works as intended yet.

It's much better to let people see your intentions than to let them see your wip.

I'm definately in the "make a webstore, pretend it's Kickstarter" camp. I think we've seen with Kickstarter that it doesn't generate a lot of publicity for itself anymore. Any publicity and relationships that could be taken from it have been already, so there's probably no point in going back there.

The team should probably keep on working on (after Christmas) that big building teaser and get it ready for the store launch.

Having some permanent independent funding system would be the best solution actually. (Updated the original post, I really didn't know the term kickstarter was exclusively linked with the website... Shame on me)
