I remember a game that was called "Söldner - Secret Wars". It was a shooter with different modern vehicles and weapons, actually a pretty ingenious game, where you were able to drive APCs as well.
Usually you kept your left mouse button pressed and the machine cannon fired at its own rate of fire, which varied from vehicle to vehicle. If you hammered as fast as you could on the left mouse button you were sometimes able to fire two shots immediately one after another.
One guy found out that if he uses a mouse macro that actually sends ten clicks every time he clicks the mouse, he could fire the machine cannons, which usually fire only 3-5 shots per secons at ten times the firing rate. You can imagine he killed other light tanks and helicopters withing the blink of an eye.
The admins refused to make this a bannable offense, as they claimed that there was no real border to be drawn from a better graphic card allowing you a higher resolution and spotting distant enemies better and a mouse making you shoot ten times faster. Which is utter bullshit.
What I want to say is: please check if the use of certain devices inflicts game balance like the one with the mouse. Spotting enemies is less of a game balance aspect than the different firing speed of the machine cannones of a Marder (20mm fast) and a BMD-2 (30mm slow)...
