Can't use old account.

So I can login here and poke about my character. But I haven't played cRPG in a long time and I've moved ~ three times since I last played, upgraded computers a few times, and repurchased Warbands on Steam.

What exactly do I need to do to reclaim this account in-game to play on again?

EDIT: I still have my old/original Warbands key if that's helpful.

Install the game with the same serial key and create ingame profiles that match your character names.

When I install a new standalone (non-steam) instance of the game it's not even giving me the prompt to add a key. Pretty sure it's just pulling the key that's already in the registry (the steam key).

EDIT: Still gives "the character belongs to someone else" prompt.
