Graphics quality usually don't bother me, but the visuals in this game are just an eyesore. Horrible and incosistent amateurish hand painted lowres textures, dreadful stylization and most of all obnoxious lack of proper antialiasing.

These "episodic" games are just so short though.

Precisely why I wait until all are released before playing them. Otherwise it doesn't last very long.

Just finished Walking Dead season 2 after it was on deal and enjoyed that a lot. So will wait for these to be released and I'm sure I'll enjoy them as well.

As long as the breaks between episodes isn't as long as with WoU, I am fine with it.
And I consider buying Telltale games the same as buying CD Project games: They do great work and deserve to be properly paid for it so they can continue doing so.

this, so much this. they are way worse than walking dead, and they are supposed to be "next-gen". view distance is like 2 metres then everything blurs like you are a 125 year old matron.

Episode 2 is out.

Will probably play all of them, but I just don't fancy this much. Most characters are just copied from the Stark family, everything (except some QTEs) happens in slow motion, animations are often clumsy, dialogue and choices are uninteresting. And what bothers me most is the same sad look on every chars face all the bloody time.

Of Telltales games I prefer Wolf Among Us, it had some freshness unlike this.

I liked the 2nd episode better than the first tho. It was more fluid and exciting, the story starting to develop.
Maybe Game of Thrones doesn't really fit into the episode format as the story might get to complex and needs time to get starting...

Enjoyed it anyway.

Who else got their throat penetrated at the end?
This is about being straight out retarded. Children see in slow motion like owls.

Well kick me in the head and eat my baby, but I think the art style is definitely an improvement over the more cartoony look from the Walking Dead.

You're entire family has just been killed/imprisoned/exiled whatever, do you expect them to be smiling all the time? They may be grumpy bastards but they have a reason to be :P

Well, it isn't limited just to the family members.

But in overall, main chars could have been something else than a literally noble family. There are many kinds of people and groups in the world of GoT (and SoIaF), but their choice was powerless wannabe-Starks. Protagonists with different kind of morale and background would make the situations where you have to choose something more interesting.

Hope that wench that Rod is trying to marry actually helps out in the long run, that is if you convinced her. Except showing that the majority did not  :P

I've quite enjoyed it so far, but I agree they could have done more with the source material. GoT doesn't really care about moral cause and effect, only realistic cause effect. This is one of the main thing that sets it apart from other stories. But these games feel like they put a moral emphasis on your actions, especially with them being clear cut "good" guys and the bad guys are really bad. It is kind of like a reskinned Walking Dead with a new setting, but its still worth playing imo
