I'm an early riser and I find myself logged on to cRPG in the morning with only 3 players on the NA Battle server quite often. I'm also new and broker than a coke addicted hooker living in Detroit. Now when I log on and play i go to equip my light armor and MW long Arming sword and various other items. I go to play, kick a few noobs asses and then die. Then when the next round starts LOOK! I'VE LOST 1K GOLD TO REPAIRS. Now when the match only lasts like 2 minutes due to only 3 or 4 players being on and the multiplicator not being active, that means I've only gained like at the most 150 gold that round. Which results in me gearing up in peasant gear just to save a buck. (cludgels can actually be good)
Now this is definitely not something we need to happen for cRPG especially since the popularity has died down drastically due to various reasons. This means people that get on cRPG during unpopulated hours will come out losing money which will deter them from logging on at all during these hours resulting in servers not being populated due to a faulty system. Why are you even worried about leechers anyways? Leechers result in players easily gaining money and then losing interest in the game faster. But why are you even worried about that when you have servers that are barely active at all and make people not want to log on whatsoever? Don't you think server population is more important than some kid that wants to afk during a match and watch netflix? This completely kills interest for new players that just want to log on and get better at the game.
IT'S ALL ABOUT DAT CASH FLOE NUGGUH.
