Fighting UIF

Fighting UIF is tough.

Loads of high levels, top equipment and guys who protect each other and fight as a team especially those damn pikers.

But - this means killing 2 of theirs for 3 of ours before spawn rapes is OK. Its a challenge but who wants it easy?

So do as whoever is doing their best to command asks and keep trying and while its not easy sometimes you kill hetman or varadin and thats always fun. If only because you know one will be ranting about 2h easy mode and the other about lag, his mouse fell off the table, a fly flew in his eye, he hasnt been well lately, you are just a lucky spammer and fight him in real life.

If you have given up on strat why are reading this and dont bother posting no point fighting UIF - its all been said.

Damn... changed hero to not so high level polearm, first full battle with long spear (20-7) and they immediately whining about pikes. I'm unlucky, sorry.

The goal of Strategus battles shouldnt be to deprive your enemies of players, but to have full roster both sides and have the gear/tactics/strategy win the day rather than lack of merc support.

Appears I've phrased this badly. What Im trying to say is dont expect fighting UIF to be easy, treat it as a challenge and keep rostering and trying in battles. Not meant to be a complaint simply a statement of how it is.

Most of the whining about pikes I've seen in the servers comes from your side :P

Note to self: Promising random small gold awards for Varadins and Hetmans head is a viable tactic, repeat!

P.S.: Congrats Arn and Hektor, set a market offer for rewards :D

Edit: I noticed some uif members acting pretty sour lol whats that about?

In Kalmar we used to do a Hetman-Hunt :)
you got 5k for posting screens of you with the ragdoll and killtext, and if you were 1st at the end of the game you would get 50k or somt

too bad we only did iit once :)
Your binary primitive low capacity of thinking is not relevant.

if there's a next strategus, it needs to be made so that people with a huge numbers advantage, don't get a huge advantage on the strategus map ..

.. otherwise we get an exact repeat of this boring, lame-o strategus round.

And what exactly would that do?
Nothing, UIF (Or whoever will be the gaylords gathering the numbers on their side) splitting up into several small factions to get those advantages. You can't prevent people from playing together with mechanics, at least not in strategus.

What Heskey said.

I lower my head in shame to have fought against you last night.
I just signed up when I saw it was a big battle, however I did not pay attention who it was against.

It was a good battle though, and indeed, your pikes were quite annoying :D And I hope my Long Spear did annoy your pikers as well.
For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

This is true, however the biggest problem of "the" anti-uif (There is no such thing! Please get that into your heads finally, folks!) are the rosters.  Not because there are not enough skilled players to make that happen, but they don't apply. Why? - I am sure that there are many reasons, but witnessing the no-fun-allowed uif-way of playing strat doesn't help at all to make guys apply for the 2nd or 3rd time / battle.

Aaah, the memories, Lekis, Peso and GTX finished in top positions. Terkild made a spreadsheet to monitor the event
