The problem is that the overhead is the pole over head, you can't nudge with the pole over head. When you switch it to pole mode and block it switches to 2h blocking, you can't nudge with 2h blocking.

There fore, shit is broken.

I'd love to test it out. I actually bought 2.
Loomed one, then a patch happened, then it disappeared. Perhaps I should have done something stupid, which seems to get fixed, like all the imbeciles who fucked up their builds, or got 3 magic beans in an ill conceived exchange.

Yeah, now it is identical to the flammy since it  has no weapon-based nudges. Can't say it really lost out on the pole nudge since it is most similar to the flammy, and that doesn't have the pole nudge either. While it didn't really lose much, it did gain the option of pole or 2h stab, which is a really cool feature. If I'm not mistaken, it still uses 2h wpf while in "pole mode*" which means if you get into some cqc then you can swap stab modes and just shank away. I wish there was a way to make halfswording with all 2h use either 2h or pole wpf, somehow. This way any 2h can use the polearm nudge (except for HGS users ) and get the option of a shorter/more damaging stab.


*Don't quote me on this, it's what someone told me... I've yet to use this weapon myself.

It does use 2h wpf in polearm mode, and you can apply this to other weapons using the same method.

Right, what I tried to say, albeit somewhat unclearly, was that it would be cool if the halfswording mode used both pole and 2h wpf, where it would use whichever wpf you had more of. This way if you are a 2hander you can swap modes in order to gain access to better nudges or a shorter stab, yet if you are a polearmer you can still pick up a 2h weapon off the ground and swap modes to have a decent spear-like weapon.
