You'd be better off protesting in front of fast food shitholes

As usual, lombardsoup manages to completely misunderstand what he's criticising and what its purpose is.

This thread is now about unhealthful food.

Pic made me very hungary, 8/10

Interesting incentive though. Fits nicely into the futuristic idea of compact, "all in one" foods.

Fuck off, lombardshit.

MealSquares look great, I would subscribe to such a service for a while at least.

They're about as good as Powerbars, a combination of dirt and chalk that vaguely tastes like lemons.

Well, if it's successful and gets out of the beta phase and spreads, you wouldn't have to subscribe to it. You could just buy some whenever you want to replace whichever meal you want -- or all of them.

They say people assumed it's a dessert, so it should taste great too. Pretty much the perfect military/hiking food.

The problem is that the market is over-saturated with similar products.

Also, reporting me...LOL

There is only one other product like it, soylent.

I was about to bring this up. What makes this different fromt soylent? Taste and texture, I'm guessing?

Advertising, which is all they have.

Interesting, hopefully it won't be long until the average joe finally gets convinced that 'natural' food isn't good and 'chemical' food isn't bad by definition, with these very terms being silly. If the research is legit it seems like a viable product, I wonder how they taste.

I guess the biggest difference is that soylent is liquid and doesn't taste as good. It's a pretty big deal to me at least. It's much more "fulfilling" to eat something, as opposed to just drinking when you're hungry/watching a movie/reading a paper/whatever.
