tbh this entire thread i find amusing, i THINK (someone correct me if i'm wrong), that people are arguing here about their skill at the game, and they are equating skill to being able to beat someone in a duel?
I think i'd point out here, that, when playing battle mode (and most of the time in siege mode), your ability to beat someone in a duel really isn't all that important; in fact duels aren't really all THAT common compared to regular team fighting.
I'd say personally I think that whilst it's a nice skill to have being able to beat someone in a duel, a better skill is probably your general 'battle awareness' (in some games they call it 'game sense'); as in your awareness of what is going on around you, where you need to be on the battlefield at any one time, what your opponents/allies are likely to do at any time, and how to counter moves made by your enemies/support moves made by your allies. Being in the right place at the right time, knowing when to stay and when to fight etc.
I honestly think the majority of kills in cRPG are not made on a 1v1 basis, I never understand why people think the ability to fight 1v1 is the highest skill in the game
