I don't understand heirlooms

Ok, at lvl 35 you can retire and get a loom point. This can be used on a item to improve the stats. Something like that right?

But what are these +3 items I keep hearing about? I'm assuming they're better than 'non+3 looms', so they must be more difficult to get.  Are they items with 3 loom points invested? Do I need to save up points from 3 generations then? That sounds pretty brutal. Maybe you can upgrade items 1 loom point at a time, with 3 times being the max? Or?

You're right. +3 are items with 3 loompoints invested. There are, accordingly, +1 and +2 items as well.
If you click at the item image on the shop page, you will see the stats it gets on each step (compared to initial stats, not the previous rank).

The best way though, in my opinion is to save the loompoint from your first retirement and then buy a +3 item after your second one, as most +3 items can be bought for like 2 loompoints + 100k gold.

just go to the shop, click an item and go to "Ranks", there you´ll see what will change

you can improve anything you want: armors, weapons, even bolts and arrows

you can upgrade your weapons anytime to +1, +2 or +3, if you spend 3 points at once or improve the item everytime you get a heirloom point

but as Macropus already mentioned, try to gather up 2 loompoints and then just browse the marketplace, +3 items aren´t that expensive anymore as they used to be :)

and if you can´t find the item you desire, you can then still upgrade it to +2, which is also pretty good already (though it´s just a little advantage, the best way to get better is pure training! Eu3 for duels and eu2 for fast fights, cause you´ll die a lot at the beginning. Also, you don´t have to wait that long to respawn on EU2 as in EU1, where you always have to wait until the round ends)

You can also have a reforge or an heirloom exchange if you transfer the loomed weapon to the player you played before the patch.
For reforge, same thing as exchange, but if you reforge a +3 you only get 2 lps.

1 LP (loompoint) by generation retired at lvl 35

+3 looms on each item max

you want full stuf +3 (helmet + armor + gloves + boots + weapon) : you need to retire 15 times =)

Good luck... it can be looooong

Better idea : You can join a clan and use +3 stuff from armoury.... for free =)

That's true. Just ask Algarn or Blackbow.
Considering how rich and generous they are, it would be stupid not to ask.
If you are really greedy you can just ask each merc player... 15 loompoints is just a few messages away.

The best thing to do in this situation is to retire at 36/37 level. For a number of reasons.

1.) You get to play longer with your build and enjoy yourself before retire

2.) At level 36 you get 3 loompoints and I think something like 5 or 6 at 37. Definately worth it.

3.) You get titles
I duel 1vs1 horse vs horse. Dude have nigga long lance that have 10 metres long or something.

Many time i can see as people use this script where horse just standing on 2 feets and does "yhohohohoh".

I probably got like two/three times less loomed items than you, stop being an hypocritic idiot.

Try joining a casual clan, they got armories with looms you can use freely.

What can I say... Blackbow is a better archer than you.
I will give you 10 loompoints the day you become better than him.

Your opinion Riddaren, and you can put it where you know. I don't give a shit about being better than someone, I actually want to reach the same skill zone, to be able to give help to the team, and being helped and respected for the bit of skill I often show when I'm playing my class.

If you want to create drama about who's the fucking best archer on a fucking mod, go on, and make a proper thread for that, idiot. That's completely retarded, exactly like sending me a screenshot with 15/0 to prove you're good at backstabbing and spawnraping while using the most difficult set on horseback (plate+ACS+great lance).

PS: Put your 10 loom points at the same place as your opinion.

Wow... keep it up and you might reach Blindguy's level.

What I hate most of all are players who keep mockering others ingame.
If it wasn't for that I would have nothing against you.

I rarely talk shit on others, except when I'm raging or they're deserving it.
