You should, admittedly go for ARMOR weight over full weight. Armor weight is a larger malus on your character and weapon weight does much less to slow you down.

Yeah... the maximum armor weight is roughly 35-36, while the maximum weight possible is 75-76 (from carrying 4 bags of +3 arrows). Quite the difference. Not to mention anyone who uses a shield (especially a hoplite who carries a sidearm) or maul looks like a plate crutch.

4x Steel Shield + Milanese Plate + Weimar Helmet + Black Greaves + Heavy Gauntlets = 83.7w

Edit: Construction Site is heavier than Steel Shield, but you can only equip one at a time. How many slots are Steel Shields? If they are more than 1, replace Steel Shield with Calradian Arrows 11.5w -> 10.0w

I actually used to wear 17.7 in armour instead of 23 something, then archery became an obsessive problem and I change to 62 body armour instead of 45. On another note, rip surcoat over mail of all kinds, they were ruined with the patch of destiny.
