I'm sure we've all got enough time in to share some thoughts by now. Give some feedback to the devs.
What are the pros / cons of this patch you've noticed thus far?

My thoughts:

There's been many steps in the right direction.
Really love the respecing, and loom exchange stuff. I think it's great that we're trying to make the game more fair for noobs.
And of course the amount of love that went into these new items is fantastic!

However, I've noticed a problem straight away. When we were talking about the patch it was said that this would allow for greater diversity in builds because there was barely any before the patch.
But I'm afraid now there's even less. Since everyone has 7-8 athletics, there's basically no such thing as keeping your enemy at range.  I went 21/21 and I was only slightly slightly slower than a 15/30. Barely noticeable nor useful.  And on the flip side with power strike, everyone hits like a truck. So even with 60 body armor, I'm dead in 2 - 3 hits.

I suppose this may be the effect we were after, making good players feel weaker and noobs feel stronger? What do you think?

I went 15-30 and it feels slower than my old 15-27 guy.  I foolishly respecced him without trying it out cuz I assumed the added athletics would be wonderful.  Now I regret it.  I also regret not retiring him this morning.  He was level 32 and now he's level 35, so I can only get 2 looms once I get another 5 million exp.

I do like my new 2 hander though.  Uber-strong and can kill a guy in 60 body armour in 2-3 hits.

2H Cav guy is fine, seems to play the exact same.

But seriously everyone moves at approximately the  same speed it's not very diverse.

Maybe it was subjective, but I seemed to notice much more glances than usual.

Perhaps because people have more agi-focused chars? Because they are not used to the agi so they position themselves more clumsily? IDK..

Let's let the patch settle for a few weeks and see where the meta takes it.

Me and Judas were on Duel testing out the new weapons, turns out the texturesmodels don't match the length, although the length definitely is working. The problem is now I know we have weapons with legitimate ghost reach, reach that you can't see but exists. And this may be true for some of the older weapons as well.

EDIT: a example is the three weapons we tested. The Scottish Halberd has longest texturemodel among the Long Hafted Blade ande the svaerdstav yet has the least reach. The svaerdstav has the shortest texturemodel but the most reach. This seems like something that should be fixed.

Horse throwing is worthless.  Horse archery is worthless.  I'm being one hit by everything wielded with two hands.  New players are apparently getting more looms to start with than I have.  Oh, and all the graphics are glitchy as all get out.

Any feedback is good so we can discuss things that are too strong/weak. The textures are messed up, hopefully that gets fixed with random bugs like ammo turning into weapons on the ground.

I'm trying out the Charger, and the maneuver makes things a little more difficult, but it's good that I can just pump my riding up to 9-10 to offset that at least. I was also surprised that I was breaking even without having to be on a constant x5. I was worried that heavy cav would be hurt too much.

I think HA are too weak with the extra 20% reduction, I'm not too keen on it just yet. Might need to do some damage tests with ranged to see if their damage is still okay.

They don't get normal looms to trade or blacksmith with, just something simple to start out with to stay competitive. Besides.. new players :D

If you want new players, you give them a fun, good reason to play, not free candy.  Besides, I'm not sure why anyone would expect to get a substantial amount of new players.  The game is selling for pennies and everyone who has wanted to play it has played it.  You should be focused on retaining and energizing the playerbase you already have.

1. Some of the new polearms seem like they should only have two attack directions.

2. Archers and horse archers seem way more accurate. I'm getting headshotted a lot.

3. Maybe consider tweaking horses to reflect the change in power strike and accuracy.
Legs are used for standing, walking, jumping, running, kicking, and similar activities.

If your new build feels slower or weaker now, it's only because everyone has 8 athletics minimum now.

Really really bad idea giving everyone high lvl now, its even harder to block now cuse lot of ppl have more agi now , more ath more wpm faster swing, insta stab, not talking about myself i can block it all just cant see how this gonna help new players.
