Now heavy armor wont make even a little difference between average one.
Higher levels on everyone, everyone will have more PS , PD PT and more WPF, even now heavy plate was alsmot useless dont want to imagine it now :D
Heavy armor will still make the same kind of difference compared to medium armor. How many hits you need to die on average will just be lower, regardless of what armor you are wearing, and thats a good thing. People have been able to tank way too many hits in cRPG in the past.

you whine so much
that you whine on something even before that happens

If this flops we get a dead mod again after a few weeks of activity. We are basically compounding the issues that have plagued cRPG for years by putting people at such high level. I'll wait and see but i'm very sceptical

IF is kind of a junk skill to dump excess points into compared to athletics or WM
Not after the patch since it'd also reduce the wpf penalty from armor quite significantly.

Which is an unjust and unfair and (insert other QQ words here) buff to peasants. They already took 1 hit to kill, so they will be able to take the same amount of hits! This is such a load of bullcrap, peasants too stronk. Please buff useless plate compared to how great shirts and other peasant armours are. Especially straw hats, they need to be nerfed to the ground. /sarcasm

On a more serious note, same way as the amount of dmg abilities will increase, so will defensive ones like IF, especially if it is buffed as some people are saying in this thread, which will make your armour better and negate totally if not just partially the reduced effectiveness that you will have.

In other words, when everyone is high level, noone is high level. 35 will just be the new standard, everything will be slightly higher but for a similar amount for everybody, so not much will change other than the ranged nerfs if they happen, the ability to have more extreme builds and maybe a couple of other things, hybrids will still gimp you making you have the equivalent of a few lvls less than a pure build, and a lot of issues will not be solved (some may even be amplified, but we will have to see for that). But hey, they give a reskin, free respec etc, and some people are happy, some QQ, and so cRPG rolls on and on until the momentum will finally be dissipated and it will die silently like one of those Western movies. This may just be a little shove that keeps it rolling a bit more... /rant over, Moncho out

5 billion xp for lvl 39. and its possible?

(click to show/hide)

Can't exactly say I read the numbers on level 39 but rather that I saw someone write that they're closing in on lvl 38 in the thread.
You should be punished for having a shitty attitude.

The higher the level people are, the lower the value of a single skill point because they have more of them. So they can afford to spread them around more and spec into different roles. Specing into extra roles reduces the effectiveness of pure roles. Melee is already a very diluted and situational role, having everyone with PS and enough WPF to use melee effectively dilutes the role further and people become jack of all trades. People won't need to use as much teamwork since they can counter other roles by themselves

Personally I feel the game will be much more balanced if people have fewer skill points. They will specialise into a role and each role can then be balanced by themselves. Ranged will try to kite and be weaker in melee range, melee will stay near ranged to defend them against melee/cav, cav will get a noticable reduction of power when dehorsed because they can't spread as many points into athletics and PS. Everyone at 35-37 will make the game a lot less about teamwork and more about who can shoot the most before the melee phase starts

This should give a new bone to gnaw on for a few more weeks/months  :P

Good ideas overall, one thing others may have pointed:

Quote
Raised difficulties for weapons at risk of being abused with large stacks of Agility and Weapon Master. More improvements can be expected on this subject in the future.

Does that mean that armor difficulty will remain unchanged? I think weapons AND ARMORS should be overhauled, because they are also abusable with large stacks of agility and weapon master.
The reduced WPF penalty for strenght will not change the issue of AGI plate fighters. Not changing it gives more armor choices to more people but with the very large number of armors available, I think its no longer a problem of taste, but a balance problem.

There was a time when mod was still fresh and young, very unbalanced but that didn't stop people to enjoy it. Players had different attitude back them, didn't take everything so serious. Fast forward to this moment, what is left of once glorious cRPG community are mostly min-maxing cunts who can't enjoy the patch news for more than one day without "worrying" about their own char and build. No wonder player numbers are dwindling, no one wants to be part of such community. There's your answer why newbies don't stick around.

Newbies dont stick around only because we slaughter them mercilessly time and again, they dont even get to the point where they can get to know the forums or interact with anyone in the community. There is just so much abuse you can take before saying fuck it, whats the point. Only the most stubborn peasants keep playing.

lvl 25 start is great and i hope you will promote the mod more now that leveling/getting looms will be easier on the new players so we can finally get an influx of people
