Briefings

Why is it some people can write paragraphs in their public briefings, but I'm limited to the 255 characters (or whatever it is).  I'm very long winded and need plenty of room to spew my propaganda.

As I recall the old strategus webpage does not have a character limit for the briefing, the new integrated page does. Or vice versa. Or it's black haxxor magik. Or cmp hates you in particular.

It appears it is the new Strat that has the character limit.  What is the link for the old strat?  I tried the link in the 'News' in the General section of Strat, but that just sent me to the Strat map, which doesn't seem to have any way to manage the battle.

Or am I blind?
Or does CMP really hate me?
Understandable if he does, most people do.

Hey, there's an idea.

How about allowing the inclusion of pictures in the briefing? So a nerd can sketch a battle plan in paint or something and upload that, along with a short text explanation of things? You know, like a real briefing*

I mean, this suggestion is two years too late, is totally overkill, requires people to give way too many fucks, and won't work in this broke ass game mode.

*Lol I'm imagining hour long powerpoint presentations linked in the briefing too. Hue.

Would be nice to have a default briefing pattern that you can stick to all clan's battles, it's annoying to re-write it every single battle...
