Oh... some much jizz!!! Good I love these games! BGII is probably my favorite. But really enjoy the Icewind series because of you have to create 6 players from scratch. I love giving them all back stories and building my own little story within the story.
Really looking forward to Tales of Numeria. Those guys are doing it right.
Not saying Age of Decadence is bad... probably a great single-player game... but that's it's downfall. I have friends. And truly great games have it all. And before someone says, I don't want multiplayer because it will take away from single-player... have you ever played Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other. And any developer that is saying so is a lair... and simply doesn't want to do both. Which is their prerogative... but don't feed lies to folks acting like it's impossible or will take away from single-player.
I won't buy any Dragon Age until they do multiplayer like BG or better. Even the multiplayer in the new game seems disappointing (though it is a step in the right direction). Bioware, you did it 10 plus years ago with BG... but can't do it right here and now (of course different team now). Are they really trying to say it's that hard now. I call BS!
Enough ranting... happy with Icewind Dale being re-released. Just sad that more developers in the last 10 years have had the vision and integrity that the team at Bioware & Black Isle Studios had 10 years ago.
