Question about bump slash/shot nerf

How exactly was this nerf engineered?  This is my understanding so far:  when a player is bumped by horse he is either staggered or knocked down.  The stagger has a fairly definitive starting and stopping point.  The knockdown doesn't.  San has said bump shots were nerfed, but there are two different types of bump shots:  leading and trailing.  If I run you over while I shoot you, that's leading.  If I run you over, and shoot you while you're getting up behind me, that's trailing.  At what point does the damage debuff turn off?  Another reason I ask is because Rohypnol and I were employing teamwork, perhaps you've heard of it, the other day.  Both of us were heavy lancing, he was knocking guys over, and I'd try to lance them on the ground.  Unfortunately, I was glancing on them.  I have 7PS, 7 riding and around 100wpf.

Anyway, the outcome is most likely this:  trailing bump shots are not nerfed, or you have actually nerfed teamwork.
