Like Umbra said, all you needed to pay was 15 usd. The 60 usd option was for people wanting to invest into the game and possibly make a profit.

You really need to make a FB and Twitter page for M:BG guys (like it or not).

He is right, though I don't even like Twitter and the numerous likes of it. Publicity nowadays means more than anything else.

Also consider contacting sites like Rock Paper Shotgun once you guys arrive at the point of beta runs and publishing feature trailers (wise-ass mode off; Blockula flies away).

It started out with the €50 investment, later on there was an option to fund for less.
A question of terminology. The high price option was the investment and the low price option was a funding.

It's not steep at all if you divide that 60 bucks by the hours of free entertainment that cRPG provided you with and then compare that value to any other entertainment.

Cinema: 8 bucks an hour
cRPG + 60 bucks investment for the team that made it: 0,02 bucks an hour

1. Is it a mod or an actual stand-alone game that will cost money?
2. If it's a stand-alone game that will cost money will Taleworlds sue if it becomes successful?

3. Will anyone even touch it after Bannerlord is released

At least one very similar counterpart (that being War of the Roses) has already spawned and it is not sued (which wouldn't be justified anyway). The team is building everything themselves, primarily the engine. I don't see anything they are doing legally wrong.

lol. Although you admitted it with your fourth word, I was still surprised to read the rest of the post.

1. Stand-alone. They built/are building their own engine from the ground up.
2. It will cost money and TW won't be able to sue as nothing has been stolen.

3. Will anyone even touch it after Bannerlord is released

Bannerlord has some questionable features and will continue to be a single-player focused game, so unless they (M:BG devs) fuck something up, most likely.
