For you fans of Berserk, Goblin Slayer started airing last weekend. Quite gruesome first episode.

I was looking into it, but i got turned off when i saw the childlike anime girls with huge tiddies. I'll probably give it a shot anyways, but its so embarrasing.

The main character is the girl in yellow hair from the looks of it. She's a newbie healer, and went to enroll in the classic guild where to get "quests" and gain ranks, bla bla bla the usual. There, a group of 3 newbies ask her to join them to go hunt some goblins that have kidnapped some girls. Anyway, she agrees and they form a group. They're newbies, but besides the main character, they all act terribly and end up splitting up. Get in an ambush by the goblins, and they poison the mage (Plus tear her clothing), the other two members come back to help, but the tank is a noob and gets clobbered to death. The other "side-tank" a brawler chick managed to fend some goblins away, until a big one shows up and knocks her up. The smaller goblins then begin to surround her, tear her clothes and raping her in front of the main character. She starts pissing herself in fear, and the goblins smell it. Then, out of nowhere shows up the goblin slayer and butchers ever goblin in his way.

There's some missing things here and there, but that's the gist of the first episode.

Alright sounds kinda like shonen style stuff put in a darker setting. I think i'll watch the first episode, but i aint expecting much.

I still celebrate it that there's suddenly an anime about this, I barely read any manga but I kinda wanted this one to be seen animated. Also, it's great that they didn't leave shit out, it'd kill a lot of the overall drama/dark mood. Is it edgy? I guess so yeah, but it's a kind of edge I can totally roll with.
