most definitely

which anime

Knights of Sidonia, just because it was one of the first suggestions for anime on Netflix. Cool atmosphere and good action scenes. Story seems stupid but it's good entertainment while working out. That's right i'm getting RIPPED while watching anime

That is the best mecha anime I've seen so far but I haven't seen much (never watched Gundam or Macross). Action is great but framerate issues are common, animation isn't smooth. There are many similar anime story wise but the most famous and popular is crap compared to Sidonia no Kishi. I'm talking about Neon Genesis Evangelion, do not watch that crap. It's overrated and made by some depressive dude, whole show is about depression and apathy. You'll barely notice robot fights because of the overall tone of anime. Everybody is that anime is a piece of shit.

I'd go with Tokyo Ghoul next, it's right up your alley. Cringy, made for goth teens and those who feel alike, edgy, gets the pump going, first season is actually decent. Tokyo Ghoul, Knights of Sidonia, NGE, Attack on Titan and many others are your typical anime where main character is some weak shit who gets stronger as the show progresses. He's the chosen one like Neo and rest of that world saving crap. Different themes same story, the most popular storyline in world of manga and anime.

There are better anime tho, but its not bad to start with the bottom quality wise and progress further to actual anime pantheon. If you do it in reverse you'll give up on watching anime fast because you'll go from good to shit.

I've been watching this: https://myanimelist.net/anime/31433/Ginga_Eiyuu_Densetsu__Die_Neue_These_-_Kaikou

I haven't seen the original, there's a decent amount of hate towards the new one from fans, but I am liking it so far. Only 3 episodes out so far.

So it finally came out. Might force myself to watch it soon. Why hate? Oiginal is possibly the best anime ever, that's why. And it was made in 80s with characters looking like people from that period while new one based on the manga art i've seen previously has some weird looking modern characters with shaved heads, tatoos and rest of newage crap. That just doesn't fit well into War and Piece vibe (yeah you motherfucker) of original anime.

Edit: So they don't look like those weirdos after all, thank God. But still look like bundle of stickss nevertheless.

This is how old characters looked like:

I dont like that many things strongly but the things i do like i very much enjoy circle jerking how good they are with others. I often get caught up watching videos like these over and over. Others would be dark souls jerking, to the lore and the design. Either way, good video. Captures Guts well, and who doesnt like a strong, struggling anti-hero in this world of animes having kids as main characters, or simply unrelateably goody two shoes leads. New chapter came out abouts a week ago. Nothing spectacular to push the story forward, but the art is always incredible, and it featured things out of Griffiths perspective. Another iconic character.

Anyone watched Made in Abyss so far?

I underestimated that shit so hard, bingewatched it last friday with a friend and can't wait for season 2. Also, I'd make such a great game, damn.
Don't get distracted by the cutesy artstyle, this show is NOT for kids
