hey guys what are some good animes for a newbie ?
Im pretty much just listing these on repeat when it comes to anime because i really dont enjoy most things i check out, especially newer animes seem to just have such insane and unrelateable characters its really hard to get into.
series:
Berserk 1990s version is top tier. Incredible characters and music.
Hajime no ippo is absolutely amazing and motivational.
Mushishi is super relaxed and spiritual/trippy.
Cowboy bebop is probably the best beginner anime, so easy to get into and enjoy.
Samurai Champloo pretty much the same as ^, same director afaik so its very good.
movies:
Redline, not much story but very immersive and beautiful. Basically anime madmax in futuristic setting.
Paprika, also incredibly beautiful with more story and trippy visuals.
Akira is a classic, good old animation with solid action plot.
Ninja Scroll is another classic. Very brutal, gritty, fun movie.
