Haven't seen new Berserk anime. Is is really worse than this? I mean, dubs are horrible but nothing compared to western live action adaptation of manga/anime. That's a big no in my book.

It is closer to lightning bolt guy than something of quality.

The dubbing is good in the anime, everything but the animation is excellent. But if you can get over some bad looking scenes here and there, then the anime is pretty damn good.

I'd disagree, horrible transitions, mediocre music, slow pacing and weird random plot that doesn't seem to go anywhere. Pretty much all they've done in the first two episodes is introduce characters and skip most a large amount of content from the manga. The third episode they finally get to some decent monsters, but at that point I couldn't stand the animation anymore.

Your positivity towards the show made me doubt myself at first Gravoth. Made me think maybe I'm just way too critical. Then I learned it was general concensus that it's bad. But still, more power to you. If you enjoy that's good. Media without people to enjoy means that it was a waste of time. At least there are some who can enjoy it and I hope for the time to come when I can enjoy it also.

True. The people i know all like the new show quite enough, some even more than me, so its definitely something i look forward to each weekend. Im often critical towards stuff, but to me so far it feels as if most if not all cricism is based on the animation. You mentioned some other parts but those i just cant grasp except the skipping arcs, but thats a given. Theres too much to cover and they dont have the budget afaik. But character introduction and building was handled fine. Not perfectly by any means, but neither did the manga so its all cool for me.
