nobody cares but here is my list  ^_^
(click to show/hide)
but i really cant get why in most of anime 95% of characters are schoolchildern and if its not 95 - its like 2-3 characters. ofcourse even from those few animes i've seen - there are some exceptions.
so its pretty annoiyng to listen how kids are thinking and planning like they are 5-10 years older than they are. its also annoiyng when drama is trying to be simulated even when characters doesnt deserve a pity(I mean characters who... well just characters, nothing similar to the real person). its being simulated by mass input of dramatic content... idk how to explain it better. the best examples of such things (as for me) are Angel Beats and Sword Art Online(at least from the anime i've seen).

Pretty nice episode of Hunter X Hunter 131 today. I usually prefer manga, but this adaptation has blown it away.

There hasn't been too many shows that have piqued my interest this season. Knights of Sidonia was a surprise, and it's quite decent. No game no life I thought would suck, but it's an interesting take on applying game theory to situations while keeping things entertaining. Mushishi I need to get to some day.

One of my favorite anime that I have seen that's not well known has been Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin.
Synopsis:
Quote
Seven teenagers in 1955 have to learn to live together in the same hold in the reformatory of Shio. Confined in a hall where suffering and humiliation are daily, they are waiting for a ray of hope in a dark, incarcerating world. The story follows their life together and how they move on afterwards.
It skips a few parts of the manga, so a few characters like Soldier are underdeveloped, but it's a great watch.

Manga, there are more than I could count that I like.

ANIME CLAN BEST CLAN

Never been a huge anime-nurd but have always watched the popular stuff peripherally over the years, Bebop, NGE, Escaflowne, etc. Finished SNK/Attack on Titan (anime) a few months ago (I do comics but can't get into manga so I'll wait for the ova season 2 or whatever). KILL la KILL is awesome after you get over about the halfway mark where it drops the cliche school girl "you killed my father" bullshit. Started Gurren Lagann and it too has started off pretty slow/same old anime shit but hopefully it gets better.

I'm going to an anime convention in Portland, OR next month with Pollux for lulz, we're gunna cosplay Doctor Who

Glad to see someone else rating Monster that highly, and Kingdom too. That series really deserves more attention, kind of a hidden gem. Hopefully there will be a 3rd season. Judging from your list I think you would like these;

I've been wondering if Hunter x Hunter was worth getting into, I watched the old adaption and it was alright, but a 140 episode show is alot of commitment.. Is it worth it?  :P

Just finished watching first season of Darker Than Black, I found it very good.

I also watched it just a week ago, and i found it dissapointing. Half the time i would just passively watch because it got kinda boring. An ok watch i guess, but i expected more from what ive heard about it..

On the other hand i've also started watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and it is truly amazing.

What was interesting to me about Darker Than Black is that they don't really give you that much background on what is going on, so you're left to figure it out for youself. The main char is basically a mistery as well as is his goal. I loved that about it. Fights are not overblown which is great as well. Dunno, guess different tastes.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is awesome, love the style, the characters, the fights. Can't say the same for the new JoJo though, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders - the whole new bussines with the Stands.. I found it very lame, they're like fucking pokemon or something.

I just finished watching Kaiji a week ago. It's a great series and imo a must watch. It's not just another gambling anime, it looks deeply into the weakness of the human psyche and tells a great story. The second season drags in the second half, but it was still very enjoyable.

@Vibe Stands never go away after this, but later seasons do it better than Stardust Crusaders. Stone Ocean and Steel Ball Run in particular I would love to see animated.
