Longer leveling

So I'm new to this game and currently lvl 30, almost 31. The most exciting part of this game for me was the prospect of lvling to 31, retiring, getting a little bonus on an item, and then creating a new build, rinse then repeat. I am however, increasingly weary of retiring now though, seeing how long 30-31 takes and how there's virtually no bonus upon retiring.

In short, does anyone think it will go back to an older way of lvling (i see people in chat talking about being 12-60th gen which i can't even fathom right now). For me, the longevity of the game is threatened because of the very, very, long time it will take to retire every generation. And please no, "then don't play" bs comments because I really do love this game.

Then don't retire, try and work your way up to 35 instead.

I have been playing since early versions of CRPG and I am generation 1. It is not worth the grind IMO.

leveling is really a pain now, at first i wasn't retiring, then i thought, by the time i get to level 32, i could have leveled up again with an heirloom, hopefully they will give exp a slight buff...

It's really a grind trying to get to 31. If the experience needed to get from 30 to 31 was reduced by maybe 30% that would be much appreciated. Or re-disburse the the ex needed for all levels so early lvls take longer than currently and later ones take less than currently.

Yeah, I have to retire this time because I want to tweak my character a bit (like not having 5 PT) but after that i think I'm done retiring which is a real bummer because I want to try more classes. I just feel without a chance to try different classes my interest might wain a bit. And I know I can create alts but that's grinding all over and I'd like to keep my identity within the community.

I play the game to have fun, not to grind. Longevity of a game should not be determined by grind potential but by how fun it is.

heirlooms are there as a small reward for those who WANT to grind.

im enjoying the game and decied not to retire any more. loving it.

but i forgot once i hit about top 100 and my xp gets near 20 mil i will get switched almost every round back and forth, not be able to play with my clanmates and basically almost constantly be switched to losing team and ride the x1 forever.

not loving it so much atm.

i dont mind usually but it gets dull after playing few rounds with my clan on ts then get switched randomly, often i lose interest an that point and just quit.

i doesnt happen all the time tho
