Weapon Points (Heavy Bastard Sword)

Hey eveyone. I want to ask something about Heavy Bastard Sword. I know that it is type of 2h weapon, but i use it with shield , like 1h, on cav. So where i need to put my Weapon Points on 1h or 2h if i use it like 1h?

DONT USE BASTARD WEAPONS WITH A SHIELD UNLESS YOU ARE BOROMIR

They become super slow and super weak. You may want to use a small, disposable shield if you're terrified of archers, but you should never use a bastard weapon with a shield unless you are on a horse, and even then its not a very good idea.
It is much more practical to invest all your WPF into a single skill so you can effectively spam with a weapon type instead of spreading WPF thinly over several skills. Unless you have a lot of Weapon Master, use only one weapon type.

What if you gotta RP Boromir? Sometimes there's no choice and you just gotta be Boromir, this game gives few options other than bastard sword-longsword type weapons

Does it means that if i use spear with shield i need to put weapon points on 1h instand of polearm?
