I use this too, its the best mod for unit diversity and challenging gameplay.

- anabasis diplomatic mod : avoid the "perma raging AI" when winning against him in wars.
Where in vanilla, destroying enemy armies/capturing their settlements, adds big ------ to the AI relationship factor, in this mod, it gives big +++++ (temporary, slowly revert to malus), and increase by tenfold the bonus of releasing troops or enslaving/executing captured troops, so that if you win a decisive battle against an AI and release his troops (for example), you will have a crazy amount of +++++ relationship with him, which gives you more chance to broker peace (and even ask for his vassalisation + gold, etc).
If you lose battles against an AI, and the few you win you execute his soldiers, the opposite happens: he will try to kill you seeing you weak and cruel to his men.
- dresden sack/liberate/diplomatic mod : add the possibility to create satrapy/client state/join confederation/liberate to every factions and their culture group.
- limited agent pack : 1 agent type maximum, whatever your imperium, no more agent spam (or very less so)
- bullgod icon : re-made unit icons, personal taste (you can find others who made packs for the DeI units which are very numerous)
