Yeah, I bought it for my Dad a while back ( he actually 100%'d the game too lol ), I hadn't played it for a long time myself so I had a little go, but sadly IMO the multiplayer had been absolutely wrecked even more than it was before. The small online population is so torn apart by all these different game modes that it made the game feel more dead than it actually was, that on top of all the lame weapons they decided to have in the multiplayer gave me no enjoyment at all. ( in fact I really hated any of the more "modern" feeling OP guns  in the whole game ).

It's a shame because the Singleplayer is awesome, the multiplayer was good fun for a while but as soon as the community started dying down having the queues for all those game modes separated was a huge weakness as you would have to search through them all just to find what game mode people are actually playing.

Here's to hoping the next game is a true Wild West with no "high powered pistol" bullshit and golden rifles that fire an explosive shot that fucks everything up.

I sold my 360 a few years ago :(

Used to play RDR MP quite a bit. the instanced game modes do split people like Leesin says. Most fun I had was me and 4 friends going to the prison (it has cannons on the walls), and blasting everyone who tried to take it off us. Also I remember sniper rifle being pretty OP, no bullet travel or drop iirc, so you just needed to click in the box (head) of another player and theyd be dead.

I played it around 500 hours or something like this. It's a great game, worth every cent, whether singleplayer or mulitplayer. I have personally played the whole Singpelplayer story 4 times, never got boring and the Mulitplayer is also fantastic and still played but some players.

It's such a shame they never released it on PC. This is one of the games I always wanted.

I can barely emulate PS2 and even PS1 games on my PC properly.
And how!

This game really looks fun. I will get it for ps3. And is really a bargain. For 15 Euro on Amazon it seems to be a really good deal.
