Try using the Long Hafted Blade on horseback.
That way you can profit from the high wpf for your Great Lance, and at the same time bump slash the shit out of everybody. With awesome reach for the same price as the NCS.
It does not deal a lot of damage (According to San about -40% for a sweetspot hit) and it is really slow and thus it is difficult to hit the sweetspot, but with Strudog's post about it needing a buff it will definitely be buffed soon. (Certainly needs it!)
But despite all the disadvantages I just listed it still is amazing once you are used to it! And so much more fun than boring 1h cav
Pretty unique as well since I guess everybody who tried it GTX.
(Just realised that "ragеquit" inf act gets autoreplaced by GTX now hahaahahha)
However, you can use the slow speed to your advantage. People do not know how to play against a LHB on horseback user because nobody plays it
So when releasing the swing you can still delay your charge by quite a few splitseconds, making the enemy attack while you have a lot of time til you gotta charge for your slash to actually hit.
Anyway, whichever build/weapon you wanna use, try it with your STF first. What you think might be good, can eventually turn out to be awful.
