Hmm, interesting, they also dont actively support any of the chaos gods, right? (Like the world eaters where khorne, etc.)
Some does.
Some got corrupted by daemons etc...

Evil != corrupted by Chaos

And they hate so much the Emperor for what he did to their Father.
It's one of the few Legion which has good reasons to fight & hate the Imperium.

Hardly. Curze might've been haunted by visions, but he became a mad murderer by choice. It was also his own choice on how to do what his legion did, as brutally and cruelly as they did it. It was under no instruction.
He also turned traitor, just for the chance to strike at his more "noble" brothers and reveled in the chance to humiliate and hurt them.

I do not know what made Death Guard turn traitor (no HH books about them so far), but, really though, only Alpha Legion (and perhaps Iron Warriors) come to mind as Legions, that turned traitor and with reasonable cause. Children of Horus/Luna Wolves, Word Bearers and Emperor's Children all got corrupted, World Eaters - Angron being an insane cunt, Thousand Sons were forced over by the events of Prospero and Night Lords were scum to begin with.

Here a good link explaining the Night Lords event's : http://warhammer40k.wikia.com/wiki/Night_Lords
What you say about Konrad Curze is a bit biased. (You should read the book "Night Lords" or the A-D-B trilogy.
Both are guilty, Konrad & The Emperor.

Here a quote from the link i gave you : (he didn't really had "choice" to become as he was)

Forgeworlds model of Ferrus is one hell of a beauty..
I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
But he'll be around somewhere between Heaven and The Devil, because neither of them will take him in, and he'll be farting loudly and singing a filthy song.

i'll be there at around

Man the Eldar surely can bring a lot of style to a battlefield.

Still waiting for somebody to make a "digestable" epic game this universe deserves. Definitely Massive Multiplayer.
