If you see one of us in server then i'm sure any of us would be happy to give you some blocking practice if you want some, I attack nice and slowly cos of my build.

But you kill anything in one hit no matter whether you use a weapon or your fists :D

From my experience people like to get in a clan so they can get to know some people and so they can ask questions. Half the fun of the game is teamplay - as a no name newbie it might be hard to get into

Hello,

I bought this game during steamsale for 5€ after a friend of mine told me to buy it for months. He was saying that it's the best game in the universe and i've got to say, it's actually pretty good (because the difficulty is high). And it's actually pretty surprising to see such a pleasant community (everyone gently answer when you ask something online).

That being said , i have a question about retirement: i was wondering considering the fact that you can switch loom point from alts to main , isn't it better not to retire the main character in order to get high level on it ?

P.S : i kinda want the free gold aswell (bodkin arrows are crazy expensives)

Bye

Hey there!

Create an offer like Macropus explained in his post and you will have the gold in no time :)

Also: Retiring does not only give you a Heirloom point, you also increase your characters generation by 1.
With each generation your experience increases a little bit. On Battle and Siege you get 30 more experience per minute (If I am not mistaken)
Seems like a fairly small amount, but if you are for example gen 10 you already get 300 more, which is quite significant.

On the other hand, not retiring with your main obviously has the advantage of never having to go up from lvl1. Some people are lvl36 (Which takes a loooooooong time) who have never retired, so it definitely is possible to reach a high level without retiring. Which path you choose is up to you.

Yep , ok i got it.

The trade is on , my character's name is Seven_Archer.

I had two more quick questions :  -what's the minimum gold you can transfer from character to character?
-I played a lot of DTV but is it the best way to make quick xp ?

thanks again, i really wish i had this game in 2010  :P

When is your next banner due?

Cannot see it. Make sure you own a Straw Hat if you put one up for trade. (Or whatever item you want to trade away)

I had two more quick questions :  -what's the minimum gold you can transfer from character to character?
1 gold. However, you cannot trade gold when you have 100 or less gold. Your character starts with 100 gold, thus 100 gold is
considered "Starting Gold" and you cannot transfer starting gold. I hope that makes sense.

-I played a lot of DTV but is it the best way to make quick xp ?
DTV gives lots of exp if you have a decent team that gets far. Battle or Siege only give more exp if you have a x5 multiplier. But when you
are not in one of the big Battle/Siege-clans then having a constant multiplier is very unlikely. (You get multiplier for winning a round)

thanks again, i really wish i had this game in 2010  :P

Yeah so do I :D I myself only joined a year ago, really gutted I missed so much.

31/7 :P

It's not that there is no gold in the bank, it's just that if I wouldn't have the fee we would run out in no time.

This would normally seem wise, but gaining levels above 31 takes INSANE amounts of time. The increase in EXP requirement doubles every level past 31, leading to an insane amount of exponential growth. Here's the official stats of required EXP by level:

29   XP:3,573,418   TIME (h):59:33
30   XP:4,420,577   TIME (h):73:40
31   XP:8,892,403   TIME (h):148:12
32   XP:17,784,806   TIME (h):296:24
33   XP:35,569,612   TIME (h):592:49
34   XP:71,139,224   TIME (h):1185:39
35   XP:142,278,448   TIME (h):2371:18
36   XP:284,556,896   TIME (h):4742:36
37   XP:569,113,792   TIME (h):9485:13
38   XP:1,138,227,584   TIME (h):18970:27
39   XP:2,276,455,168   TIME (h):37940:55
40   XP:4,552,910,336   TIME (h):75881:50

If you want the most amount of loompoints in the least amount of time, always retire at 31. If you have all the looms you need for a build you want to dedicate and progress beyond 31, feel free to do so, but focus on the grind early on.

EDIT: Also, the more you retire, the more your generation count goes up. You get a small EXP bonus every tic (30, I believe) along with getting a small amount of extra gold. This makes leveling increasingly easier especially if you have a high multiplier as you gain an exponentially larger amount of EXP and gold compared to the "base" amount (50 XP and 100gold).

As far as I have noticed, the amount of exp is even more than double the previous level.
So from 30-31 is slightly more than 1-30.
And from 35-36 is more than 1-35, so in the lower levels this is pretty much negligible, but in the higher levels this means that you need a lot more experience to gain a level than you already have grinded so far.
