Free gold for new players

I will give 30k gold to any player registered less than two weeks ago to help buying some gear.

- Why exactly is it 30k?
- Because total gear cost of 30k allows you to not lose money due to upkeep while providing decent stats.

- Can I get the gold multiple times this way?
- No, it's only once per player.

- How do I get the gold?
1) Make a trade offer of any cheap item for the gold.

3) When I accept your offer you will recieve the auto-generated message from me and the gold.

Just a heads up, I think giving gold is a waste because like in any game 90% stops playing after a week.

Well I assumed that people who play more than two weeks have already gotten a decent gear.

Hi I just registered a couple days ago, i know there is probably other threads for this but could you give me some advice if possible.

I'm trying to build my character to be an archer/1-handed weapon fighter (built up so i have a steady shot and able to do decent enough melee damage, haven't decided whether i'll use a horse or not) do you have any advice on what i should or should not buy, and also what ratio of points should i go for between strength and agility. Lastly would you recommend that i use my 4th slot for a shield or for extra arrows?

I have 2 last questions though:

1. What do weapon points do exactly, like for example, what's the difference in having 25 points into archery or having 100 points in archery?

2. What does weight (from armour and weapons) affect, and depending on what it affects, for my archer/fighter build should i avoid the very heavy armour and just go for mid weight armour?

As for the archery thing, a good lvl 30 build is:
18 str
21 agi

3 Power strike
6 Power draw
7 athletics
7 weapon master

with like 40-60 weapon points in 1h and the rest in archery.

Equipment:
- short 0-slot sword
- rus or long bow
- whatever arrows you can afford to use without losing gold (note that arrows break more often than any other equipment part, so their upkeep value makes quite a difference)


Weapon points are very important for archers, much more than for melee. It improves your accuracy, the drawing speed and damage.

Put up a trade and I will give you the gold I know you always buy the wrong gear at first, so a bit of extra cash won't hurt you I am sure.

Is that the name your steam account is currently known as cause when i put that name through the 'Find People' search bar, it said that you didn't exist.
