Goedendag or Quarter staff?

As suggested by the title, I'm unsure whether I should use a Goedendag or a Quarterstaff.
I'm also not sure what build I will use, thinking of 24/15.
Either way I'll be using +3 Serbian Lamellar with Kneecops, +3 Scale gauntlets, French Pepperpot Helmet and Splinted Greaves.

Goedendag is stronger, Quarter Staff is faster. It depends on what you like better.

Goedendag does not look stylish in combination with Serbian Lamellar, imho

Quarterstaff seems the way to go though, how much agi were you thinking? I don't want to get less than 15 str

For level 30 I would probably go with 21/21, but if you want more wpf or some Iron Flesh 18/21 sounds good.

Quarter Staff is not about killing with one blow. Spam the enemy, the occasional knockdown will piss them off, your footwork will make them glance so you just get lots of hits in while the enemy has a hard time actually getting one hit in (Obviously requires blocking a lot since you should wear light/medium-ish armour)

Goat-tag is a better battle weapon, since you get lolstab and do more damage. In fact, it's a better Longsword than the Longsword, but luckily it's ugly so everyone uses Longsword instead.

However, +3 Quarterstaff may be the best duel weapon in the game. With enough wpf, it barely renders the swing animation.

Quarterstaff if you're more confident of your melee abilities, goedendag if you're looking for a hilarious bonking experience, I'd say.

I'd got with the quarterstaff. It is incredibly fast for a weapon with that much reach. Build-wise, I'd go 21/18 if you are planning for level 30.

Check out the iron staff too. It's one of my favorite polearms.

Trying a Long Axe at the moment at 15/18 and I really like it but yeah I might carry both a Long Axe and Quarterstaff around.
