EU servers are filled with kiddos that think they can take out peasants by using fists, you can kill them even with a level 1 character

No matter whether you are good or bad, a Horse Archer does not deserve to live long.

Horse Archers are the most annoying class, closely followed by Horse Crossbowmen.

Learn to play melee, it is way more fun After all playing a mounted Archer does not make you learn melee either. I too started cRPG fairly late (About a year ago). Loads of Pros running around while I did literally just know how to move using WASD.

Many people had to go through tedious times of being mercilessly slain by some tryhards, play lots of DTV, the bots are easier to block than most players (Provided there are not 50 bots ganking you at the same time)
Or hop on EU3/NA3 and find someone who practices with you, there are always helpful people around. (Go to Battle or Siege, ask if someone can help practice on Duel and I am sure someone will.

All ranged ofcourse is no honor in medieval times. Knights are high rank, specially trained in combat for many years, they have lots of money to afford the best gear and armor so that peasants like you can't do anything to them. But then they invented crossbows which could one shot kill knights. But ofcourse that is just history and this crpg, which has no realism
