How to nerf Agi Dagger my old friends with shield!

I agree with you, but not like this, make shield skill to be a STR requirement and not an agi.

Simply remove the ability to take a dagger with a shield. It's completely overpowered, and it cost no repair at all, with minimum risk with a shield.

I've been doing that Gravoth, and I can say I've been laughing to tears with this build, killing in four hits tincans, stealing kills of everyone, and this is complete bullshit. Remove the ability to take daggers with shields, and add a strength requirement with shields, in addition of the shield skill one.

Making shields use strength makes sense imo, but I really don't see agi dagger builds as a major problem in cRPG.

Are you seriously having a problem with (check stats) 24c-28c knives and daggers used by someone with max 1 powerstrike?

Seriously?

You're either wearing enough armour for them to do so low damage that with even minimal footwork they should glance 75%+ of the time, OR you are wearing so light armour that you should be able to use footwork to just stay out of their reach.

Worst case scenario, grab and axe or use held attacks to bust their shield open. Unless you can't block 4/5 hits then you should NOT have a problem with fighting dagger&shield guys.

"But they ambushed me from behind! D:" That's a different issue, but still your own fault.

Held attacks with any 35+ base damage weapon
