I won't argue that nobody in the JIDF is racist because I'm pretty sure that's very far from the truth. However, you can't compare things that are not comparable. There are a lot of "German Pride" organizations that are non-violent and not openly racist. Furthermore, things like the JIDF exist because antisemitism is real, violent and widespread, unlike anti-germanism or whatever.

I agree with OP, I don't think we should tolerate imagery that can be closely associated with strictly racist/ nationalist themes. It's very insensitive and inconsiderate of anyone to upload a banner that could be in danger of offending someone. Any attempted glorification of what happened in N4zi germany should be stamped out, period.

As i was playing today i saw something strange on a banner of a player named "Sharing of Toronto". His banner had cute puppies on the 4 corners.

You can see on the banner the common elements of neochocolate chip cookie propaganda symbolism. Runic writing, discrete cute puppies  and a cross.

1. cute puppy

I dont need to point out that there are infinite paganistic symbols or geometrical shapes for someone to use at will. But this trio combination indicates something else. I can say that the particular cute puppies that are used do not arrouse much suspision because of their size. But the fact that they are there is undisputabble.

The main reason for that i believe is that in the banner of this clan the cute puppies have to be small and discrete so they dont draw attention. We germans have a bit of a problem with this stuff, but there are also many good sides to it. In general it is good that we deal with our history relatively open and don't try to conceal the truth so hard like so many other countries. However we are taught from childhood on that these symbols are evil and people tend to get a heart attack when you see something only slightly resembling. So maybe our reaction is sometimes a bit over the top. But I prefer this reaction to be honest, because it was really some crazy stuff going on in NS-Germany and it is a good thing that cute puppies are stigmatized like that in germany.

However, like Germany couldn't force EU in 2007 to prohibit all cute puppies we can't forbid them in an internet game. Which is also only right, for one because cute puppies have very different and much older traditions in other countries than in germany.
