Don't forget the fact that Jason Brody, who never held a gun before, is a ace shot who can operate various kinds of shotguns, rifles, handguns and lmgs.

Still hyped for 4 doe.

well he is only really an ace shot if you are.

But what if you play on console with aim assist?  :)

Well, they actually kinda explain it through the tattoo you get, being the mighty warrior of the jungle and all...

You'd think that having 1 button to throw stuff and switching it with scroll would be a good idea, but as far as im concerned its not. I kept forgetting it every now and than. I once tried to throw a grenade at the center of charging enemies and I ended up throwing a large chunk of meat. And once while in stealth I tried to throw a knife and ended up throwing a grenade which pretty much notified my presence to everyone in the base.

Nah I was just mad earlier, (also wanted to see peoples reactions :P) he's an alright guy and he's done fucking well for himself and has kinda set a benchmark for a lot of game critics and put fear into some game companies.

But, I do take everything he says with a pinch of salt as at times he is overly negative about games as he purposefully sets out to pull all the negative parts from a lot of games and is at times overly opinionated about some of the content that he does. Apart from that though he is pretty accurate about stuff and obv has a lot of knowledge for stuff, but I just can't take him seriously haha so I tend to not pay much attention to stuff he posts or people using his views on stuff.

Well, it's true he can be obsessed with sometimes weird things, however I feel he does acknowledge it and try to bring some solutions (like the thing with always looking through the options menu, he quickly added an annotation to skip it and now it's the last part of the video). He's also very negative in general but honestly that's part of the "Cynical Brit" character and I'm sure his audience is watching at least partly due to this character. He makes it clear that each reviewer has tastes, opinions, point of views and different focus and that viewers should try to take those things into account when considering a review, instead of being angry when people on YT don't like the same things they like. Case in point, he is terrible at puzzles and hates Portal. I love Portal yet I didn't stop watching, even though his video about Portal 2 wasn't very informative at all. It didn't pretend to be. The more recent Borderlands Pre-Sequel review was actually a good review as it covers a lot of objective material even though he states he dislikes the game. The point is, there are plenty of reviewers around, and each one represents valuable information even if their tastes don't match your own. When they do their job correctly (and I'd argue TB usually does), they actually explain their own biases instead of pretending they can NPOV.

You'd think that having 1 button to throw stuff and switching it with scroll would be a good idea, but as far as im concerned its not. I kept forgetting it every now and than. I once tried to throw a grenade at the center of charging enemies and I ended up throwing a large chunk of meat. Peasant problems. Use T to throw stones, use G to throw grenades. Simple!

The aiming and everything sorta feel awful. Aiming with the mouse almost feels like using the controller, didnt even know it was possible. Also i really dislike the characters in this game. Sofar they are all cooky. Like all of em. Exept the leaders. Its total crap. They are all utter clowns. Trying too hard to be over the top, almost feels like forced, rather than natural.

Got a torrent from Thovex, downloaded and installed. Reeks of console, bad inventory wheel, as usual ... autodrive was kinda nice to have. Aim is horrible, and random frame stutter. Runs on about 30 - 40 FPS on high. But tends to randomly drop frames for a second. Glad it was a torrent and not a purchase.

SP rocks, better than 3 by miles

MP sucks, I like the idea but it's execution is horrible, it's a step backwards from 3s pretty well done MP

Map editor and custom maps are fun as fuck, I can see myself dicking around with this thing almost as much as I did in FC2, (dint touch the editor in 3)

Can someone confirm there's no snakes or spiders or jump scare animals like Snakes were in FC3?

I dunno, the game feels even a bit...too organic. Theres like stuff going on everywhere all the time nonstop. Theres not even a moment of peace. I know that the argument that the game has too much stuff sounds a bit silly, but good god. For example I randomly dicked around near a radiotower once and in the period of 2 minutes I got ganked by 2 snakes, 2 lions, atleast 3 eagles, a pack of wolves(or whatever you call them), 3 guards who were guarding the tower and 2 jeep full of guards who just happened to stroll by. And no not all at once, but they all sorta waved on me in a matter of "Oh, we just happened to be in the area". And that wasnt just one occasion, it happened a lot. Not that its hard or anything, it just gets slightly pointlessly annoying and silly eventually.

It wouldn't be Far Cry if it wasn't goofy and nonsensical.  Still not a fan, but the games have merits, lack of seriousness being one of them
