I think I've downloaded* this about five times now, and it never works, can't get past sequence 2 or 3 (crashes), after Youngezioclone is framed for murder

* super legally of course, from Uplay or Steam or something

There's a super duper not so legal fix for that, had something to do with missing files in the early rips

They care more about money than personal opinions.

An AC with ninjas or samurais and smoke bombs and shurikens and evil brits who are actually Templars supporting the Imperial Court and French who are good guys (fitting since this AC took place in France) supporting Shogunate is a game that all the weeaboos and japanophiles would love and it would sell good im sure.

Personally i'd like an AC set during either Alexander the Greats time in Greece or Julius Caesars time in Rome or even WW2 lol.

Anywhere but Japan.  Give me India or something

I am indian and let me tell you, being indian is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, indian parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head. Also, we all have great jobs, lots of money and a family that we all love and take care off.

Is this safe to play yet or should I let Ubisoft sort their shit out before I waste any time on it? I preordered and installed but haven't had the chance to dive in and am not in any particular rush with Dragon Age so close.

Wait at least a month.  Latest patch shows (very) small signs of improvement

Weird.

My FPS got a lot better after I got initiated into the assassins. I even put my graphic settings higher, textures to the best and environment graphics to Very High, even though I've got GTX 680 (minimum requirement according to Ubisoft..).

FPS was shit at first, in the prison and prisonbreak.

Oh yeah, and, I do like the game more than any other AC game so far. It's a money grab, and it could be really, really good if Ubisoft wasn't so greedy and gay, but it's decent as-is. Definitely better than previous installations, IMO.

Already died more often in Unity than during the whole play-throughs in any other instalment I played. That alone is already a good sign.

Now, please Ubi, make it run properly on my toaster.

Really liking the game so far. More depth and more fun side quests than other ACs combined.

Huge performance increase:
