Although the group stage will only consist of 16 teams, in the event that we receive an overwhelming number of team applications, the Group Stage will be postponed one to two weeks. During this time we will hold a round-robin style qualifiers tournament to decide the last two tournament positions (meaning the first 14 sign-ups won’t have to qualify).

With 22 teams signed up a round robin style qualifications tournament with 8 participants would take far too long. In the interest of time, we're going to eliminate the qualifiers round entirely. In the Group Stage, we'll have 6 teams in two groups and 5 teams in the other two groups, as opposed to the initial 4 in each.

Sometime later today I'll update the group stage fixtures thread and teams will be able to begin scheduling their matches.

All further questions to be addressed in the Q&A thread.

All Team captains should now have admin access to NA_8, please message me or post here, if you do not. And don't forget to check the Group Stage so you know who your first match is against, and can start scheduling/playing those matches.

The four other members wish to drop out as well then? You could easily just pass the team captain onto one of the others and use the team's replacements to get more active members onto the team.
