Sure, I made a lot of friends out of the military aswell, but I found them boring.

You can`t choose your family, but you can choose your friends  :wink:

And besides, by the term friend I mean best buddy, not someone that you see every now and then

Anyway this thread reminds me of that guy who was mocked by the Japanese themselves for being an "otaku" , let's see if I can find it.

Eh I have no idea how to look it up but it's in this forum somewhere.

Lol I know what video you are talking about, two japanese guys interviewing and making fun of some American guy living in Japan who thought he was some kind of anime master with pillows that had anime girls on ( I think it was pillows, or something just as lame as that ), when in reality he was just a fat lonely virgin.
