Ah but thou forgetteth that the arms on both sides were pretty much matched up.  Musket, cannon, rifle.  There is no parity today between the military and the citizen.  Thou also ignoreth that an armed militia (Minutemen) may have been at the beginning but it was an American Army, with the aid of the French fleet that was in at the end.

All the crazy feyadeen with RPGs, IEDs, heavy machine guns couldn't prevent the US military from marching right through Iraq and into Baghdad.

Tis a nice pipe dream however.

Must-eth thou now forget-eth how thy Continental Army was just drunken, armed 'Murican citizenry. As well-eth the fact-ith that the French Fleet as well as thy Prussian military trainers were just a conspiracy-eth theory. 'Twas all the USA USA USA USA USA USA
