Speaking of HoC, xkhanx used to have a pretty crummy banner, if I recall. Somebody ought to dig that old thing out.

(I can find it and some of the prototype choas banners but I'll have to set up my old computer to fetch them. Oh, and the RS banner(s)!!!)

When custom banners were an optional download instead of hardcoded into crpg, I never bothered with them since I wasn't in a clan. When I heard custom banners were going to be officially supported and visible to all other players online, I get excited and thought up my own design. Celtic style, forest green, with an "evil eye" motif.

Then on like the first day banners got added I saw the Chaos one and got so mad that my idea was already taken. I honestly had never seen the Chaos banner but my "evil eye" green witchy banner was almost identical. The eye and celtic stuff was horizontal instead of vertical, but god damn.

When was anyone called a copycat? Just saying we kinda have to use em, being that it's our theme. Not sure why they are so prominent otherwise.

I used to love all the boxy banners.

Arys made an eye catchingly offensive banner with Betsy the Sumpter being ridden by Psy and one of Betsy sexually assaulting a neck beard. But no idea where they are.

These are my favorite personal banners. They look great on kite and board shields, as well as heraldic body armor. The green and purple match the non-heraldic green and purple surcoats over mail as well. The inverted celtic cross and moon appear in the bubble over your head. I am not using them currently, but plan to use them in the future. That's why they are covered in black dots ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL

When I used the green one in the past, I would follow HoC when they were doing teamwork in NA 1. Our banners looked nice together. HoC is one of my favorite banners, it's really close to my ideal banner (and my favorite banner that I've made).  :D
