Anything new about this? For now I've wasted 110Mxp to play gimped 1H shielder. Before the final word from devs I won't play the character - I don't want to respec and lose 55M xp and I can't even get a decent build with the respec given. I can't fill WM nor athletics, can't ride my +3 horse and I have too many points in IF and shield.

Also not only did this change break our builds, it broke the overall balance as you can see in a lot of QQ threads about ranged. Please devs, let us know what you're planning to do if anything or should I just quit the game as I'm no longer enjoying it.

After various patches I respecced and retired because builds were less effective.

What I do find surprising is the number of players that say high level builds give no real advantage its just player skill and then refuse to retire whatever happens.

It takes little time to get to lvl 27-30 when surely most builds are viable and even if you cant max IF/WM/ATH/PS/Shield surely your skills will make up for this?

Plus if alot of people retire it gives a bit of variety rather than the same people playing their lvl 34 builds day in day out against other lvl 34 builds? And it would make it a little more welcoming for any rare new player who wanders along who already suffers through non full set of heirlooms and low level.

I get the feeling and maybe devs can clarify that retiring was always meant to be part of the mod?

So I log in to CRPG haven't played a couple days.  Don't read forums often and I see oh hey cool skill points to spend! I spend them all on shit and hit save.  10 seconds later I realize I was given a mandatory shit respec and now I have no riding skill.  GIEF FREE RESPEC, I'M NEW AND BAD!
