New CD Key = new account?

So today I reinstalled Warband and after long break it asked to write cd key. I almost couldnt find it in my wardrobe;). So what happens if i loose my cd key? Can I buy new one and still play on my current crpg account?

Not sure but, do you have the game on steam ? If you had, you could find the key on your steam account.

You can ask Harald to move your stuff over to the new one, he will probably ask you for something to make sure it was yours in the first place.

You can indeed retrieve your cd key from your steam account, im just now sure how but I remember it's possible.

If it is non-steam, have you registered on Taleworlds.com? I remember you could link your games to your account there.

In any case, cRPG accounts are linked to cd-keys. If you lose your cd-key and use a new one, you will need to get in touch with harald or Nessaj (i think) to transfer the characters over.

Yes, if you can prove it was your account.
Contact harald with Info such as, last time played, generation, money, looms, amount of characters ect
