Just consequently show them yellow. Allow video evidence after the match for that purpose too...

When they are banned every 2nd game cuz of yellow-red, they gonna think twice if it really was so bad.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

I still don't get it, why they keep refusing video for the referee as a tool which could greatly help the referee in some situations...

The most retarded explanation i heard was from Platini (as UEFA president) :
"We want to keep something more human."
"Referee are an important part of football."

What the f....

I am not big on football terminology but is diving only when you go down when there hasn't been a foul or is it called diving when you fail to do your utmost best to keep your footing after a foul? If the latter is correct then players dive all the time, because otherwise the referee is likely to let a foul fly. If the former is correct then Robben did not dive, as the defender placed his foot on Robben's foot without touching the ball, which is for all intents and purposes a foul.

Well this world cup is totally a retard show because the actual game keeps as 56 mins ; i mean come on 34 mins pass by fake injuries , goalkeepers etc.

Refs shall directly show yellow card for those fake injuries.

It's difficult for the ref to tell between falling easily and faking a foul. What Robben did was actually falling easily. He probably saw no solution and decided to force the defenders to commit a foul inside the rectangle. It's intelligent play, although not fair, for sure.

Simply when a player purposefully goes down with the intention of getting a free kick/penalty.

Although it's quite ambiguous now because it feels like it's part of the game. Some players get fouled and stay on their feet when they think they can score or get a ball through on goal- but it's still a foul and the ref plays 'advantage'. Whereas in another situation that same player would receive the same foul, and go down to intentionally get the free kick.

It's sad, but it's part of the game, players dive all the time and it's even gone as far that pundits actually call it "clever play"- anything to win and all that jazz.

Drawing a foul is a legitimate part of the game. Regardless of what most people say, Robben did not dive to draw the penalty against Mexico because he was definitely fouled. He chose to embellish which is different from diving. Diving is when there is no foul and you throw yourself to the ground hoping you draw a foul from the ref.
